Liu Bolin è un artista cinese, nato a Shandong nel 1973. Il lavoro che lo ha reso famoso nel mondo, Hiding the city, è ora esposto alla Eli Klein Fine Art di New York. Si tratta di fotografie – autoritratti nello specifico – molto particolari, all’interno delle quali Liu si mimetizza. Si posiziona nel punto specifico dell’inquadratura per poi farsi dipingere e fotografare secondo le forme e i colori dell’ambiente fino a ‘scomparirci’ dentro.
