The “wow” award so far, most certainly goes to Sister by Sibling. The eclectic brand was selected by the British Fashion Council to receive the prestigious Newgen sponsorship for emerging designers supported by Topshop, as well as relying on the support of other global trademarks such as Barbie and M.A.C.. The collection itself is a triumph of colours and bold leopard prints (the Scottish Fair Isle Leopard is the brand’s animal of choice). The shades underpinning the collection are fuschia, orange and YSL blue, which adds a bold and exciting twist to the already colourful ensembles. The models’ faces are covered by a black sequined fabric, which furthermore accentuates the brightness, uniqueness and multidimensionality of every piece’s nuance. In contrast with the bright tints, the collection presents, overall, a clean cut and an elegantly feminine silhuette.
